CPiA stands for Color Processor Interface ASIC, and is manufactured by ST Microelectronics Imaging and Display
Division, formerly VLSI Vision Ltd.

CPiA2 is the second generation of this coprocessor, and is capable of producing
an MJPEG compressed video stream at 15 frames per second VGA and 30 frames
per second CIF over USB 1.1.

This mailing list is for discussion pertaining to the development of a Linux device driver for the CPiA2.
