This mailing list has been created to receive any questions (and their answers), concerning any problem met while compiling or using dar. After having checked in the previous postings that somebody has not already got the same problem you are in face of, feel free to post your questions and if possible help other users.

Access to this mailing-list


beside usual subscription this mailing-list can be used via Gmane a Mail to News gateway:

  • read only access via web interface
  • read-write access via News interface
  • read-write access via email, subscribing to this mailing-list (see how to do, bellow in this page)

Due to spam emails, only list member can now post to the mailing list. You can however disable the reception of email still being subscribed, which let you use the News interface as before. Note that your email will only be visible by people that subscribed to the mailing-list at the time of your post, it will be hidden from web interface, news interface and archives.

Using Dar-support
To post a message to all the list members, send email to dar-support@lists.sourceforge.net.

You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Dar-support

Subscribe to Dar-support by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

    You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

    If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options.
