ext2resize-devel -- Discussion of the ext2resize and ext2online programs, development, bugs

About ext2resize-devel
English (USA)

The ext2resize tools allow you to enlarge and shrink unmounted ext2/3 filesystems under Linux.
With a kernel patch for 2.4 kernels, and standard in 2.6.12 kernels it is also possible to enlarge a mounted ext3 filesystem. This capability is very useful in conjunction with the Logical Volume Manager (LVM) which is now part of the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels.
