stjude-project -- Discussions about The Saint Jude Project and Intrusion Resiliency

About stjude-project
English (USA)

The Saint Jude Project started in late 1998 as a personal project to generate scripts and software that could detect root breakins on solaris and linux systems, and respond to those breakins in real time.

The project has evolved into a study of intrusion resillient systems -- systems capable of recoiling from successfull intrusions by repairing the damage caused by the exploitation of a real and present vulnrability by an threat either external or internal to the system.

The StJude project today looks to better understand this concept, developing both mechinisms that demonstrate this resilency and generating better understanding about what is necessary to develop intrusion resilient systems.
